Historic Minardi Day 2021: how beautiful!
It was time, in all honesty. Strolling in the paddock of the Santerno Circuit and browsing up and down the pit lane, everyone felt the desire to savor the typical atmosphere of this event again, fueled by the passion for motor racing.
The healthy, real one of fuel and lubricant; that of the noise of the pneumatic screwdrivers in motion and of the tools, of the sound of the engines in heating; the one animated by the movements of the technicians driven by sincere passion, who constantly care and "polish" the cars, for the eyes of the public, but more likely to satisfy their desire for "track".
In the most absolute respect of a health protocol, managed and controlled by the Team chaired by Giancarlo Minardi, the fifth edition of the event - which I tell you, as a passionate photographer, through images - has, once again, given so much to the public, initially slowed down from bad weather on Saturday morning, 28 September, but which found the right scenario and enthusiasm in the afternoon and then on Sunday 29. The automotive component present is noteworthy, above all and obviously the historical one, but also the innovative one has left its mark: over 300 cars present. The direct participation of drivers and motorsport protagonists - who have left an indelible trace in the memories of fans - and their availability, made the event even more precious. Thanks to Giancarlo Minardi and his Formula Imola staff for what has been achieved. Being there was a whole other thing. Thank you all.
