Ferrari: a dream for everybody, 2018 edition

One year ago, on September 16, 2017, Scuderia Ferrari Club Riga, in collaboration with Scuderia Ferrari Club Roma Centro and the Italian Union of Blind and Visually Impaired, held an event dedicated to the blind and visually impaired. After the success of the day at Anagni circuit, the Club recently held the second get-together of its kind on September 29, 2018.

The event took place at the Valle dei Templi circuit in Italy; it was dedicated to the blind and visually impaired, giving an opportunity to feel the thrill of a Ferrari engine from a passenger seat in a Ferrari. All Sicilian sections of the Union of Blind and Visually Impaired, as well as Scuderia Ferrari Club Ribera, participated in this Dream for Everybody.

The day was a success, and we had a great time. Another miracle for our lovely blind and visually impaired friends, thanks to the great drivers of Ferrari Club Ribera. They gave their best throughout the entire day; all were exhausted but happy in the evening, including the marvellous club teams, SFC Riga and SFC Roma Centro.

We are grateful to the great Davide Cironi, a motoring journalist who has built quite a reputation among gearheads in Italy and all over the world, and his team for their hard work. The Valle dei Templi circuit and its staff showed us what real Sicilian hosting means.

To summarise, the day was a miracle of friendship, respect, dedication and great passion. It was one of those days you never forget, and that leave strong emotions, mixed with slight melancholy. It was a pleasure to be there, sharing long hours of work with special people, friends.

This one goes to all the wonderful guys who went for miles in primitive conditions to do a few laps in the Reds. We all will never forget it.
