Don Alberto Bernardoni - the bells of Ferrari

The Church of Maranello, constant stop of the cheering of the fans. Don Alberto shared a passion with the faithful (but not only): Ferrari. It was him who started the tradition: when the “red” won a Grand Prix, he rang the bells.

And he rang, rang … for Ferrari. The priest of the little church right around the corner from the headquarters, at Maranello, informed in this way citizens of another victory of “Cavallino”. He was an institution.

Everybody knew him, especially Ferrari fans. A joy for the whole town. Originally from Montese, in the Emilian Apennines, priest of San Biagio di Maranello from 1997 to 2007, when there was Schumi, and the bells rang a lot. His church of Maranello hasn’t been able to hold all the people who wanted to pay his last respects. Now he rings the bells from above. But you can hear them very well when Ferrari wins ….
