Ferrari has always been the car of my dreams. I was excited when I found out that a Ferrari club in Riga has been established. This club is an excellent place for networking. New contacts, fast cars, beautiful women... It has it all! I am looking forward to going on the next trip organised by the club – I have always wanted to watch a F1 race from the track with my friends. This club really is a step closer to living the Ferrari dream.

The same way as Janis Joplin sang that “one good man – it ain’t much – it’s only everything”, I can speak of Ferrari – it’s a sports car, but it has everything. It is smooth, it is beautiful, it is powerful; it is the ultimate embodiment of speed and perfection, and there can be no doubt that it is the best. I have been a member of this club from the very first day, and I have loved every moment of it. This club really is the only place to be for anyone passionate about Ferrari.

I love Ferrari! The cars are powerful, fast, and as beautiful as the women that like them. Being a member of the club is a step closer to the luxury lifestyle I enjoy.

The main reason why we’ve have decided to accept the invitation of Scuderia Ferrari Club Riga and Italian Union of Blind and Visually Impaired to shoot a video during this Sicilian event was precisely to try to understand this dimension hard to imagine. It makes you think, undoubtedly, at all levels, from those that go without saying to the less easy ones. Sometimes it’s good to just stop and think.
We too granted ourselves this luxury, to stop for a day. I drove very little, upon express request, and I preferred listening to these people when they could speak with less adrenaline rushing through their bodies. Scenes as that of the minute 0:41 of the video, as for me, are richer of communication than what plenty of pseudo-journalists of the sector could hope to do in their entire careers. Now I’m saying this because moment’s passed, Sicily is far away again and I’m writing in a much colder place than Valle dei Templi, but when you see those scenes in person everything’s different. I’m glad to keep reminding very well what it was to be on the side of who felt weird in presence of a Ferrari, as it was until a few years ago and continuously since I was born. I figure that’s why this job has possessed me more than I have still done with it. As long as there is this awareness pure and intact, you can continue.

As a photographer I always seek for the most picturesque places to capture, but when it comes to cars - nothing compares to Ferrari's elegance - visually brilliant, beast in performance.
I'm proud that Scuderia Ferrari Club Riga has found itself in my home town - equally beautiful and historically rich.

I've been passionate about Formula 1 racing for 25 years and all my favourite drivers have driven for the Prancing Horse at some point of their career. Ferrari is the most iconic and legendary team on the grid, the very core of Formula 1. Being a member of this club enables me to implement myself and my passion for racing red by writing articles on the GP weekends and making audio descriptions on F1 races. For me Ferrari stands for passion, perfection and making your dreams come true.

The famous Prancing Horse captured my imagination at the same time Gilles Villeneuve began his incredible career for the Scuderia at the end of the 1970s. Impossible to have known this period and not to have been deeply marked by it.
For anyone interested in the history of motorsport and the legendary manufacturer of Maranello, the Scuderia Ferrari Club Riga is one of the best references, regardless of the continent, period.

The activities of Scuderia Ferrari Club Riga it’s an OTP platform for all its subscribers. The Covid-19 pandemic situation allover the world gave the chance to all the realities to find a way to reintroduce themselves in the world and SFC Riga found a very direct and special way to do it, creating a Radio web content taking care of F1 updates over the week and Live Audio description for the races, in partnership with the Italian Blind Union, bringing not only the Formula 1, but the whole Ferrari World to another dimension. Many other activities are planned for the road events, while also the digital content is improving, showing a determinate and passionate focus for its own target.

Since my childhood I have been following Formula 1 and when Michael Schumacher joined the Scuderia I was hooked. When it became more difficult to follow races due to my vision impairment, I did no longer follow all races.
When The Scuderia Ferrari Club Riga presented its services and plans to make Formula 1 accessible to a low visioned audience, I was very excited and was happy that I could again follow my old passion.
I am glad that I could join the team and, since mid season 2020, a challenging year for all of us, provide an exciting service of Audio Description live commentary for blind and low visioned, opening the fascinating world of racing to everyone.
Ferrari is a synonym for passion, being passionate to share and provide inclusive services makes me proud to be a member of the Scuderia Ferrari Club Riga.

My name is Giuseppe Sergio Lo Magno, blind for several years now due to retinitis pigmentosa. The gradual and then total loss of sight has distanced me more and more from the world of motor racing. I no longer found any pleasure in being in front of a television without seeing my beloved cars racing, having to content myself with hearing a little detailed commentary.
A few years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting the President of Scuderia Ferrari Club Riga, Valerio Palmigiano, who was involved in organizing an event in Racalmuto in Sicily, "Ferrari for all", where he proposed to disable people to enjoy the thrill of doing some laps as passengers aboard the red cars of Maranello. Thanks to his enthusiasm and after having explained to me in detail his imaginative projects to make his passion for Formula 1 and in particular for Ferrari accessible to the disabled, I decided to get involved and collaborate with him to give my contribution by exploiting my experiences and my Disability Manager skills.
After years of research work and studies on accessibility, we were able to fine-tune the audio descriptions of Formula 1 Grand Prixs, that can be heard live by everyone without distinction through the various radio channels made available by the Club, making use of reporters who, thanks to their professionalism and passion for Ferrari, are able to make visually impaired people experience the thrill of assisting and being fully involved in this type of sports broadcast by listening to the many details described as if they were seeing them with their own eyes.
I personally restarted following F1 Grand Prixs with enthusiasm thanks to the richly detailed audio descriptions, cheering as always for Ferrari, which has always been in my heart. I am really happy and satisfied with the results achieved by S.F.C. Riga with whom I now collaborate permanently and which plans its activities without leaving anyone out. Thanks Valerio for your inclusive ideas, “Forza Ferrari!”.
